Phil Watkins - Pastor
Phil has been an AoG minister for over 30 years, he has pastored churches in Mansfield, Folkestone & Weston-Super-Mare. Phil's passion is the discipling of believers through biblical teaching, challenging but affirming relationships, and a leadership culture that makes people feel welcome, but gives diligent attention to Christian character, lifestyle, and the discovery, development, and deployment of our greatest asset – people. Phil is married to Shirley and they have 5 children

Jim Allmark - Pastor - Youth & Children
Jim has been ministering to children, young people and families for over 20 years in local churches running outreach youth and children’s clubs, after-school clubs, holiday clubs, schools ministry. Jim has also travelled extensively both in the UK and abroad running summer camps, children’s Holiday Clubs, doing family outreach events and training children’s leaders. Jim is married to Louisa and they have three children, Hannah, Sarah & Rebekah. Jim likes cooking especially curries, playing pool, reading and preaching

Dave Cooling - Treasurer
Dave and his wife Hilary have lived in Montpelier all their married lives (37 years!) and have worshipped at Ivy Church for well over 30 years with their two children.  Dave worked in Bristol secondary schools for 27 years, 10 as a Head teacher. Since retiring Dave has enjoyed travelling, outdoor activities (walking, camping and gardening), photography, badminton, swimming & reading. He also serves as a Chair of Governors of a Bristol Nursery School and Children’s Centre. Dave has found some interesting volunteering activities; the highlight being as a Games Maker at the Olympics and Paralympics. Dave is the Church Treasurer.

Arthur Panton - Elder
Arthur has been worshipping in Ivy Church for more than 8 years now. Arthur is a Social work Manager and has been in the profession for more than 14 years. Arthur is married to Pam and they have as son, Simon. They have lived in Bristol for many years. Arthur has a heart to see young people become all that God has created them to be. Arthur enjoys photography, watching sport and spending time with his family.

Sam Huruna - Elder
Sam has been worshipping in Ivy Church for more than 19 years now. Sam is a Nurse and has been in the profession for more than 30 years. He has worked in Hospitals both abroad and in Bristol. He is a General Nurse, a mental Nurse, and a Theatre Nurse. Today he works only in Nursing Homes. Sam is married to Naomi and they have 4 children; a daughter and 3 boys. They have lived in Bristol since 2000. Sam is in the executive committee of Fellowship of Christian Nurses (Nig) UK branch. Sam enjoys listening to Christian music, watching TV especially News, Jogging and exercise.
