Peter and Jenny Kay - Nairobi & Burundi
Please continue to pray for Peter and Jenny as they settle into life in Nairobi and the Bible College. They have travelled to Burundi to assess the situation there. They plan to start a project to enable feeding and educating the children of widows who have contact with the project workers there. This will mean the children are able to stay in their family units rather than in an orphanage. The situation in Burundi is tense since the former President has just been arrested for plotting a coup and claims of torture and brutality from the army are growing. Please pray for wisdom and continuing peace and the President to act as the Christian statesman he seems to be.
Sasha and Sara Vitakic - Serbia
Sasha and Sara minister in the central and eastern parts of Serbia. They are involved in many aspects of sharing the gospel. This includes the humanitarian work helping the poor and needy. They provide aid parcels for 90 different families each month (367people). This is one way they are able to show the love and compassionate side of the Christian faith. Please pray for them as they teach and disciple believers, arrange special evangelist services with the aim of spreading the gospel and building bridges with the local people.
Please continue to pray for all our missionaries here in the UK and around the world. We also remember Veron and Claire Kinkead in Jamaica. If you would like to receive any specific (or all) prayer letters for more information please see Pam Panton, Missionary Secretary.
